ASOTO
Houston based visual artist and illustrator creating bold acrylic and ink works that blur the line between sweet and sinister. The wide-eyed, hollow-gazed creatures with playful yet unsettling expressions challenge the viewer’s instinct to categorize what they see.
A graduate of the University of Houston with a BFA in Painting, ASOTO builds worlds where charm and discomfort collide. Their work embraces emotional contradiction, turning innocence into something slightly feral and strangely captivating.
Each piece invites you to look twice and maybe feel a little uneasy about why you like it.
